What's the place you like best in the countryside?

That's the question we will be asking in our 2013 Children's Art Competition. The place in the countryside the children like best can be anything from a seasonal favourite sledging spot, to a picnic area or the bridge where they play poohsticks. It could be a farm they visit. It can be a real place they love to go to or an imaginary place they would like to be able to play in.

The competition is open to Hertfordshire Primary schoolchildren and is judged in three age groups. Deadline for entries 22 May

Entries can be self-nominated, or completed by independent individuals or groups. Awards categories are: Rural Living, Rural Environment, Rural Living Champions (Abel Smith and Peterkin Awards for Young Individuals and Adults making outstanding contributions to Rural Life) Deadline for nominations 30 June 2013. Results will be announced at an Awards Evening in the Autumn.
