Bishop' Stortford Schools (23 Oct 12): The Planning Appeal against the refusal by East Herts District Council of the proposed relocation of two Bishop's Stortford Secondary Schools to a single Green Belt site south of the town has been rejected by Secretary of State Eric Pickles, bringing to an end 8 years of blight affecting not only the GB site but 4 other sites which would have been developed for housing to pay for the move, resulting in 700 new houses.
